ARISE!!! MY FELLOW COMPATRIOTS

Dear Abuja friends and fellow Nigerians, a few faceless cowards have chosen a path to reign destruction on innocent citizens and deter prosperity in our land, hiding behind political, religious and selfish sentiments. This is a burden not only on our president or security services, but on us all. As Chris Hedges puts it -"we now live in an era where governments destroy freedom, the press destroys information, banks destroy economies, lawyers destroy justice and religion destroys moral’’. We have to be our brothers keepers, encourage one another, use our God Given instincts, be extra vigilant and report suspicious movements or person. This isn’t a time to point fingers or take sides, for there is no right way of doing a wrong thing, killing one another regardless of motive IS wrong. We must seek to be on the side of peace and unity. This is a call to all young and peaceful at heart, regardless of age to peacefully fight for freedom. Born into an era where the weapons of destruction far outpace the instruments of peace, we must seek to change this tide and remember the words of the American president JFK “ask not what your country can do for you, but what we can collectively do to liberate our country from destruction and eminent division.
